About Allure

Since I was a little kid I was always in love with photography. It was always close to me, followed me everywhere like a shadow and I knew that one day I’ll turn my “little hobby” into a passionate profession one way or another. It took me quite a while to get to the point where I finally figured out how and where I want to apply my creative skills and after few years in public relations, marketing and media production by accident I discovered that documenting the most special and intimate moments on a wedding day gives me pure joy and fulfilment that I can’t possibly get anywhere else. I was hooked and there was no turning back for me.

Shorty after documenting my first wedding in London I decided to start my own business in 2006 and have since had the pleasure to work with some of the most amazing people that I ever meet all over UK and more recently in continental Europe which is quite exciting. I love travelling with work and this year had to opportunity to shoot in places like Lake Garda and lake Como in Italy, Morocco, Bavaria, Paris and Kenya.

The basic idea behind Allure Photography grew from my desire to give my clients something creatively different and unique. It was always about making the bride or groom feel special and beautiful on the day and what is more important taking the worry away from them. It’s a very simple but truly effective strategy and really allows me to produce photography that is timeless and captures the moments that are extremely important. One of my primary aims is to produce creative that will stay exciting and fresh, even years after the event. Images that I love making are in most cases described as gritty, modern, fresh, classy, clean, creative and almost in all cases are a true depiction of the person photographed which effectively makes them unique for every individual couple that I work with. As simple as it sounds it’s all about creating some type of emotional connection on the day that it try to make with people that I work with. From my experience once that’s in place everything else clicks organically into place which consequently creates an abundance of different opportunities on the day of the wedding or during an engagement session. One of the things that I absolutely value most is making my clients feel always 100% comfortable in front of my cameras. This I think is not only a key part of the documenting process but also something that defines Allure Photography as a business. I always care about my clients no matter what, and always want them to have fun, fully enjoy one of the most important days in their lives and forget about everything else.

One of the more frequent questions that I usually get from my clients is how did I develop my style and how do I manage to consistently produce quality photographs in all types of different environments. There is a very wide combination of different things really plus all kinds of life experiences that somehow brought me to a point in my life where I feel totally creatively liberated. A place where I can apply my ideas in an absolutely unconstrained manner in a fast paced phenomenon that is wedding. Pretty much from day one after starting this business the key and the guiding principle for me was always to go out there and create beautiful and unique photography for all my clients and that mantra has served me very well over the last few years. I can only hope that I stay healthy for a long time and continue doing this type of work for many years to come.

I’d be absolutely honored to capture your wedding day. I look forward to getting to know you, your fiancé and your families.
